When did you join Thames Students Inc.?

May 2021

Why did you decide to become a TSI board member?

I became a TSI board member because I love helping people and wanted to work with my community. I also wanted to gain leadership skills that will help me in my profession for the future.

Can you provide your favourite memory of being on the TSI board of directors?

My favourite memory so far is when we took group photos and spent the day together because that was my first time meeting everyone in person and we had a really fun time.

What is one piece of advice that you could give to future board members of Thames Students Inc.?

TSI is like a second family you can feel safe and comfortable with everyone.

When did you join Thames Students Inc.?

October 2020

Why did you decide to become a TSI board member?

I became a board member to make friends, learn more about my school, have the ability to voice concerns, and hopefully make a difference for those that feel they have no one to help.

Can you provide your favourite memory of being on the TSI board of directors?

Being able to be a part of other committees that I strongly feel I can support as well.

What is one piece of advice that you could give to future board members of Thames Students Inc.?

Join. Speak your mind, ask lots of questions, make friends, help other students and have fun.

When did you join Thames Students Inc.?

Fall of 2020

Why did you decide to become a TSI board member?

To gain leadership skills, connect with the student body and make friends

Can you provide your favourite memory of being on the TSI board of directors?

When we did a make-shift polar plunge this past winter, being able to work with my board to complete an even for a great cause was so fun and a little cold but I’m looking forward to it again.

What is one piece of advice that you could give to future board members of Thames Students Inc.?

Don’t be afraid to join! It is one of the greatest choices I have made.
